Hello Gabriel,
As we explain in the email to you, by default iGetter starts with the 'Watch for clicks in Internet Browsers' option switched on only for the file types listed in the Watch For preferences of iGetter (file types by default are: zip, sit, hqx, bin, gz,tgz).
To restore back your browser you need to follow these steps:
1. Open the IE Preferences
2. Go to 'Receiving Files' group->'File Helpers' panel
3. Sort by 'Extension type' by clicking on it and select first element in
the table
4. Type on the keyboard 'zip'
5. Look for the iGetter plug-in attached to this file type
6. For the attached file type click 'Change' button
7. For the 'How to handle' pop-up menu choose 'Post-Process with
8. Confirm the changing
9. Make the steps 4 to 8 for every of these file extensions: sit, hqx, bin,
gz, tgz.

If you want to use iGetter without catching the clicks in the IE browser you can unstuff the iGetter1_5.bin and delete the 'iGetter Plugin' placed in the 'Support' folder of iGetter. In this case iGetter will not catch clicks in the browser anymore.

alternate solution

You could also open Stuffit Expander and tell it to handle all the file types.
