Hi, I have Leopard 10.50.2, and I accidently deleted the iGetter folder without using the uninstall and now I can't customize my toolbar.(with the URL and the homepage and the forward/back). Does anyone else have this problem, can anyone help thanks.

Most practical way is re-download igetter (if you deleted the disk image) and drag to applications, you simply run "uninstall iGetter" , it will remove the input manager /plugin etc.

(I am a iGetter user)

Of course if you intend to repair iGetter, you can reboot after uninstalling and install it again by dragging it to applications from disk image (not trash)

There are two ways to uninstall iGetter from your Mac. First is to use the "Uninstall iGetter" application located in the iGetter application folder. Second is to write "iGetter" in the search box of any Finder window (on Leopard you have to add "System Files" filter to find all items - see this http://www.macworld.com/article/60711/2007/10/spotsyssearch.html) and delete whatever you find or you can manually remove the following files:

<Home folder>/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/iGetter Plugin
<Home folder>/Library/InputManagers/iGetterIMBundle
<Home folder>/Library/Contextual Menu Items/iGetterCMPlugIn
<Home folder>/Library/Preferences/iGetter
<Home folder>/Library/Application Support/iGetter

If you want to empty the trash immediately you have to restart your machine.
