Hi,

Tried to download Photoshop 6 last night. Halfway through, iGetter paused on it's own. Tried and tried to get it to resume, but every time, it would pop back to pause. I even started again from filling out Adobe's form to downloading and after iGetter picked up the process, it jumped right back to pause.

One more question, why doesn't iGetter dial up and connect from the desktop when I resume a half finished download? Maybe my ignorance here.

Thanks,

GOH

Hello,
The possible reason for pausing of your download is loosing the connection to the Adobe.com server, some time out set from Adobe, etc.
Here is one mirror FTP URL to the file you've mentioned:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshop/mac/6.x/AdobePS6Tryout.bin
Try to resume your file changing the URL in the Item Settings dialog.
Adobe.com required the cookies when you download. iGetter 1.5 already support cookies saved in your browser. For us is important to know what browser you've used for adding the URL to iGetter. Some browsers save the cookies after their quitting, IE do that immediately. So sending of cookie required from Adobe server will be send by iGetter in subject with this peculiarity.

For the 'Redial if disconnected' function be sure that you have at least one default PPP configuration in the Remote access control panel to allow iGetter to redial your modem. (Of course the Redial button must be pushed on the main window for to use this function.)
