increase # of segments?

hi, currently i can't set the # of segments to more than 5. is it possible to increase that # to like 10? cause thats what i used back then with flashget, do you think it'll help the speed? thanks

You can set the number of segments to 15 maximum for any download using the "Item Settings" dialog (you can set the "Default number of segments" value at iGetter preferences, Acceleration panel). Note that if you increase simultaneous connections ([simultaneous downloads]*[number of segments]) this only may slow down your downloading (the available bandwidth will be distributed between all running jobs) as well as iGetter will use more CPU and memory resources. iGetter will complete the entire queue faster if "Max Simultaneous Downloads" is 2-10 and default number of segments is 3-5 according to your connection type.
