My ISP blocks rapidshare dowloads based on the URL name (rapidshare.com).
To avoid this block i have to covert the RS file URL to have the IP address instead of the name of RS.
This works very nice and Igetter accept the address with the IP address.
The only downside is that the site manager doesnt work anymore because every IP address is different, so for every file i need to put the account info in manualy.
Is there an option (i dont think there is) that allows to have the username and password in a database so you can choose from the database (site manager) the PW and username without typing it every time manually?
Or maybe this can be considered as an upgrade or additional option for future development of Igetter.

This is an interesting feature request. However, using a file for sites in Site Manager may slow down iGetter due to requirement to open, process and close that file on each new connection. Nevertheless, I added your feature request to the iGetter wish list.

Thanks,

thank you for adding this to the wishlist.
However i dont think you have to make so complicated.
My idea was just to have a small database to store username and PW and when adding a file to iGetter for download to have the option to pick the user name and PW from the database (item settings / advanced)so it is filled in automatic

late thought :-)

Maybe this can also be addressed if iGetter alows the use of wildcards in an IP address
Example:

Normal URL
http://rapidshare.com/files/315049161/s09e01.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi

converted to IP
http://62.140.7.39/files/s09e01.hdtv.xvid-fqm.avi

If iGetter should allow for wild cards in the site manager than the user info can be stored for
http://62.xxx.xxx.xxx/
http://62.xxx.xxx.xxx/files/

I dont know if this makes sence :-)
