I've been using igetter for years. Today I go to retrieve files from an ftp site, and instead of opening up like it would normally, I got a littlered x on the ftp site file folder, and nothing else. All my settings are the same as they've always been. What does the littlered x mean?

That little red x icon may appear in the Site Explorer for sites that return some error (i.e. "530 - Login Incorrect", etc.).

What you may try:
1. Enter your user info either at Site Explorer "New URL" dialog or at iGetter preferences, Site Manager panel.
2. Switch on "Use passive FTP mode (PASV)" option at Mac OS X System Preferences -> Network -> Proxies tab panel.

If that doesn't work send to http://www.igetter.net/igetterfeedback.html an URL for testing and we will tell you why that icon appears.

Thanks,
