Manuel,
Please, specify what you mean by "they crashes". iGetter or Safari crashes, or the downloads appear as broken?

Also, how do you add these files to iGetter? Did you try the "Download with iGetter" browser contextual menu command?

Do you have a "Direct downloads" and "ReferrerString" options in your RS premium account?

Thanks,

Support team, i mean whih "they crashes" when i add a link and it appears to be broken when it doesn`t. Previously checked of course.
I add the links with the option of "Download with iGetter", copy and paste the link and also i drag the link from the safari to the igetter.
I´ve checked mi rapidshare account and i have selected the option of "Direct Download" but i didn`t find the option ReferrerString in the rapidshare settings.
This problem doesn´t happens with all the files that i add on the igetter.

thanks

manuel

This is the exact thing that is happening to me.

I add a file from rapidshare and it will add it to the queue, and then it downloads a very small file, almost as if the file doesnt work at all. then the file is unable to be opened afterwards. (almost always rar files, somtimes zip)

Marc,
First, to find what causes the problem, select some of the downloaded small files in the iGetter History list. Double click on some of them or use the "Reveal in Finder" command to locate the physical file. If the file has a small size then try to rename it adding an ".html" extension. Next open it in Safari and see if there is some useful info about the problem. It may be an ad page or error page (that the server is busy, requires a login, etc.).

We don't have a paid Rapidshare account, but in order to download from RS you need to:

1. Login to your rapidshare.com premium account and open the 'Options' panel. Now turn on the direct downloads option.

2. In iGetter, open the iGetter preferences, Site Manger panel and add the following entries with your user info (notice the point before rapidshare.com):

http://.rapidshare.com/
http://.rapidshare.com/files/

3. Use only "Download with iGetter" browser contextual menu command or click on the download link and wait for iGetter to intercept your download automatically. Only these two functions send a cookie that rapidshare requires. All other methods for adding a RS link(s) to iGetter including just pasting a link in iGetter, may not work due to these session cookies. If your links are not clickable you can use linkrr.com or rapidclick.co.uk to make them real links as one of the iGetter users suggested.
