Nowhere am I told what to do and what to expect.
Spent an evening trying to get iGetter to integrate, failed

I am not ignorant.
OSX Snowleapard iGetter 2.8.5 Safari 5+ Firefox latest
want to download mpg,flv etc checked the box, added flv
all three things checked for browser integration
also checked start download immediately
safari shows iGetter addon (but no "flv" even though I added it)
firefox shows iGetter addon

run up a youtube flv or mpg ... in either browser ... nothing
I have no idea what to expect since the website is mum

an icon? a flashbar? a new toolbar? double-click then download? I tried drag and drop, hitting the "+", nothing nothing and nothing in either browser (though if that's the way it works I'll go elsewhere)

To me integration is downloading at the host site (like youtube)

OK PLEASE HELP, but make the website have a NEW USER section

I agree,
just bought the new version & no integration for chrome at all.
I feel hard done too as I only bought this product because of the new version claims.

Some info please.....

@bb,
There is no direct way to download flv/mpg files, since YouTube movie URLs are hidden in the swf flash files. However, there is a Firefox add-on which may help you extract the movie URL and send it to iGetter. So to download such files:
1. Install the FlashGot add-on in Firefox from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/220/
2. Open a youtube page. On the bottom-right corner of Firefox should appear a FlashGot icon with the movie URL. Click on it.
3. When a Firefox save dialog appears choose iGetter to download the file with iGetter.

@Little Angel
Please, read this FAQ about how to enable iGetter contextual menu commands in Google Chrome: http://presenta.net/cgi-bin/faq/faq.cgi?faqname=igetterformac#37
