igetter & wupload.com

I have tried to copy the log info from the segments tab, but it downloads the empty file so quickly from wupload.com that I can't catch the log. I would be a great feature to show the log under the history category.

I have Firefox 5.0.1 with iGetter 2.8.7. As the iGetter plugin does not work with Firefox 5, I am using the flashgot addon to link my dowlads to iGetter. This setup works perfect with megashares.com but does not work at all with wupload.com

I have added http://.wupload.com with "premium account" username and passwords in the site preferences of iGetter - max connections 1, unchecked the "save redirected urls" added 9999 k to the acceleration panel, checked "send cookies from browser"

None of these measures helps. iGetter simply downloads a a filename only without any information from wupload.com.

Any solutions?

First, you can see if the downloaded small file includes some useful info. If its size is not 0 bytes, add an ".html" extension to it and open it in Safari.

What you may try:
1. Site entry in the iGetter Site Manager should be
http://.wupload.com/

2. Set your default browser to Firefox. You can set it at Safari preferences, General Panel -> "Default Web browser".
3. Login to wupload.com in Firefox.
4. Click on the link that you want to download and wait the Firefox save dialog to appear. There you can choose FlashGot -> iGetter option.
5. If that works try to add that link to iGetter using the "FlashGot Link" CM command.
6. If the link starts with "https://" replace it with "http://". You will need to turn on "Open save dialog on new download" option at iGetter preferences, General panel.

igetter & wupload.com

I opened up the small file iGetter downloaded from wupload.com in texteditor and it read "bad hash"

Not sure what that means?

It means that either the link has expired, it's not complete (some forums screw links up) or there is an error in wupload.com about that file (it's deleted, moved, etc.).

You can first login in wupload, then paste that link in Firefox address bar and see if the Firefox save dialog will appear. If so, choose FlashGot -> iGetter option.
