If you have installed manually iGetter extension for Chrome and you use a new version of iGetter app (or vise versa), you need to update your extension as well.

To update your extension:
1. Open Chrome Tools menu -> Extensions and remove your current iGetter extension.
2. Navigate your Chrome browser to the following URL and install the new iGetter extension:
http://www.igetter.net/iGetterExtension.crx

Current extension is version 2.8.8 and it should be used with iGetter v2.8.8. We tested this installation with Chromium 17.0.934, but it should work with any of the latest builds of Chrome as well.

SHould this not update automatically?
Do I have to do this manually each time?
Thanks,

If an extension is added or removed manually using the Chrome extensions manager, then third-party apps can't install/update automatically that extension anymore. This is by design of Chrome. In addition, automatic installation must write in a Chrome file located in the Applications folder. This may cause problems if iGetter and Chrome are installed by different users.

We hope that this will change in the future versions of Chrome.

Chrome 10 is a bit outdated. Did you try to use Chromium or a new version of Chrome?
