Hi there, I am trying to download a number of files from a site that I need to log in to get to. If i just download them in my browser they work fine as long as I dont close the window with the site in or logout. When I try and download with igetter, so I can que up the downloads and do them 2 at a time, It works for a very short time but then fails. Because of the server reports that it cannot resume download. I was wondering if you knew why this might happen? I have added the root domain with the login details to the site manager in case it was that but still it fails.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello Alex,
You have not provided a test URL, but from your explanation it seems that download URL expires and iGetter can't resume it.

What you may try:
1. Enter the download sites with your user info at iGetter preferences, Site Manger panel. Notice the point before

2. Turn on "Save redirected URLs" option at iGetter preferences, Advanced panel.
3. Set "Minimal segment size" value at iGetter preferences, Acceleration panel, to 50000 KB. Once started your download should complete fine. If downloads are big (over 1 GB) try to increase this value.
4. When you login to that site, if you see a "Remember me" checkbox, just check it. This will set a cookie that iGetter may use to authenticate you.
5. Add a download link by using the "Download with iGetter" contextual menu command. You can also use Firefox with the FlashGot add-on ( FlashGot adds several contextual menu commands: "FlashGot Link", "FlashGot Selection", etc. that support iGetter. With FlashGot you may also click on a link and wait for Firefox save dialog to appear, then select "FlashGot: iGetter" option.
