We don't have a premium uploaded.to account, but if you encounter a problem with iGetter most probably uploaded require authentication and/or (session) cookie.

What you may try:

1. Enter the following sites with your user info and limit the number of connections to 1-4 in iGetter preferences, Site Manager panel (notice the point before uploaded.to):

http://.uploaded.to/
http://.ul.to/

2. If your uploaded premium area has an Options panel turn on the direct downloads option (i.e rapidshare.com has such option).
3. Use only your default browser when you download from uploaded. You can set default browser at Safari preferences, General Panel -> "Default Web browser". Here you can choose Firefox for example. This step may help iGetter choose Firefox as a cookie option for new downloads added by drag&drop or paste commands.
4. When you add an uploaded link use the "Download with iGetter" contextual menu command or click on the link and wait for iGetter to intercept the download. These two functions support session cookies.
5. Try the FlashGot add-on in Firefox and then just click on a uploaded link. When the Firefox save dialog appears choose iGetter to download the file with iGetter.

I tried your suggestions, but it doesn't seem to work. I've uploaded a small file here http://ul.to/edtg7uqo.

I've added username and password using these paths in the Site Manager:

http://.ul.to
http://.uploaded.to
http://ul.to
http://uploaded.to

I've also activated Direct downloads (and that works in a browser).

When accessing the above file in a browser it first redirects to http://uploaded.to/file/edtg7uqo and then it redirects to http://stor1107.uploaded.to/dl/SfbpAldhwx, so the same file has three different links, each of which I've tested in iGetter:

http://ul.to/edtg7uqo - just downloads an empty file called "edtg7uqo".
http://uploaded.to/file/edtg7uqo - just downloads an empty file called "edtg7uqo".
http://stor1107.uploaded.to/dl/SfbpAldhwx - downloads full file.

So only the last link works. When I paste in the link in the "New" popup, I can see that it recognizes the username and password under the tab "Advanced".

Do you have any other suggestions for what to do? :)

When you paste some uploaded.to link in iGetter "New URL" dialog and then select the Advanced tab panel, what cookie option is selected: "iGetter" with some cookie text or your default browser?

If ul.to requires a cookie, pasting a URL directly in iGetter may not work. Did you try contextual menu command "Download with iGetter" or Firefox with FlashGot add-on?

Thanks,

Downloading file through contextual menu have the same result, I'm using latest chrome and want to download from it.

Maybe if iGetter Support don't have a uploaded.to account i could past my for a day or two but in that case solution must be found ;)

Ok?

You can provide us your user info for testing using our contact form http://www.igetter.net/contactus.html

Please, contact also ul.to that you want to use a download manager with their premium service. Note that currently uploaded.to have posted a warning that their "systems are reaching the maximum capacity from time to time" (http://uploaded.to/help).

Thanks,

If you have Zevera account, set the following sites in the iGetter site manage:

http://www.zevera.com
http://zevera.com

with your user name and password of course. Works for me.

kinda works

If i start downloading a link directly through safari then stop the download in the download widow and copy address and then paste THAT copied address to iGetter the download will work...

However no amount of fudging around with the iGetter site manger allows me to just directly download in igetter say through copy link or the contextual menu

I definatly have direct downloads turned on in my ul.to account

This is driving me crazy

any ideas??

one thing i have noticed is if a url is written like this-

http://ul.to/dxlsk998/The.Muppets.2011.DVDSCR.XviDsC0rp.part1.rar

then if i follow the working method i have written above it will be written like this when i past to igetter-

http://stor1149.uploaded.to/dl/nM8qPEDCTC

We tried to download with iGetter the example rar file using the ul.to Free Download option. The result was an error web page named "noddl" with the following content:

quote:
Error

Sie können diesen Direktdownload nicht starten, da bereits ein anderer Download läuft.

Any subsequent attempt to use the Free Download button returns: "You've reached your Free account limit. In order to be able to proceed downloading you need a Premium account."

So we can't test ul.to until we have a premium account for testing. However, the problem may be that your link begins with "http://ul.to/dxlsk...", but if you try to open that link in your browser, it automatically changes to "http://uploaded.to/file/dxlsk...". The same is true if you open "ul.to", it automatically redirects to "uploaded.to". The problem is that no cookie will be set for ul.to when you login to that site and all links starting with "ul.to" may not work in iGetter.

Did you try Firefox with the FlashGot add-on installed (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/220/)? You can try either the contextual menu "FlashGot Link" or by clicking on the link and then selecting the "FlashGot: iGetter" option.

Thank you for the provided user info. We tested iGetter 2.8.8 and Safari 5.1.4 on Snow Leopard with a link posted above in this thread.

Uploaded uses cookie for authentication, so iGetter will download from ul.to if:
1. You must login once to ul.to in your default browser (i.e. Safari). You can check your default browser at Safari preferences, General Panel -> "Default Web browser" (it must be set to Safari). After you login to ul.to you may close Safari, but don't click on Logout link.
2. In iGetter verify that these options are ON: "Save redirected URLs" (at iGetter preferences, Advanced panel) and "Send cookies from browser" (at iGetter preferences, Integration panel).

Now you should be able to download any ul.to link with iGetter. For example by pasting a link directly in iGetter using menu Edit -> Paste (Cmd+V).

If iGetter downloads a very small file (less than 1 MB), find that file in Finder (using the "Reveal in Finder" command at iGetter History list) add ".html" extension at the end of file name and open it in Safari. Most probably there is some error there i.e. that the file is deleted, a traffic exhausted error or some other message.

Thank you team!!

Turns out the only item holding things up for me was that "save redirected URL's" in my preferences was not selected.

User error :-P

keep up the good work
