Hello Paul-John,
Thank you for being a registered user of iGetter since April 1, 2010. The reported problem may appear if you've tried to activate iGetter on multiple machines. In all cases, you just need to keep in a safe place the last successfully activated iGetter license file. In your case it's from your iGetter copy with serial #3A8AD17E5B9F0E4F (activated on Dec 7,2011).

BTW, we sent a reply to your email with instructions how to activate your copy of iGetter.

Regards,

Target DIsk Mode

Thank you for a speedy response.

I have several machines ( iMacs, mini, MacPro and Macbook ) spread between the office ,home and girlfriend. I "almost" only run the MacBook OS X but via "TARGET DISK MODE" .
Do licensing terms allow this type of operation and does this affect the actual licensing file / serial number?

Not so pissed off today!

Regards

Paul

Hello Paul-John,
Currently, at each startup iGetter generates a machine dependent serial number. So it's not possible to use iGetter as registered in the described scenario. If you boot Mac OS X on your MacBook and use other machines in target mode it should work though. The only option in your case could be to activate iGetter only on the machine that you mostly use. On the other two machines iGetter will start as unregistered (with the only limitation of a 15 sec. delay at startup).
