It is impossible for me to use iGetter 1.7 and the Apple ADC download facility as the links are picked up and intercepted by iGetter but it doesn't support the SSL encryption properly. Either the link gets intercepted but nothing appears in iGetter's todo list (most common effect) or the link cannot establish connection to the ADC ftp server (connection gets refused). I can't select the URL from the ADC site as it is a SHTTP:// URL which iGetter refuses to accept as a valid URL.

Please change iGetter to either work with SHTTP and SSL or to ignore SHTTP URL's when they are clicked on as the IE Download manager handles them fine.

Cheers,

Wayne

Yeah!

I agree! I sure would love to be able to use iGetter for that 200MB Dev Tools download (I got stuck with the September edition - no Applescript Studio).

Mind you, I can't even get Fetch to work with that ftp site... only IE.

I think I have a proxy problem though, because Fetch doesn't seem to work on ANY FTP site, so mabey that's the problem...

Anyway, back to downloading non-resumable extra-slow segments for me....
