Does anyone knows if an iGetter version will be shortly compatible with Mozilla O X (better than IE, iCab, Opera alltogether..) ?

Hello Sevy,
We've tested iGetter with Mozilla v1.0 for OS X and it works well. To check that the iGetter plug-in is loaded in Mozilla, start the browser and go to Help->'About plug-ins' function. iGetter plug-in must be listed there with the appropriate MIME types.

In general any browser that supports the LiveConnect type plug-in and searches for installed plug-ins in the OS X home directory->Library->Internet Plug-Ins folder will start successfully iGetter. Browsers as Mozilla, Chimera and Netscape for OS X are updated often so you can test their latest versions.

contextual menu

the context menu in Mozilla doesn't display any of the iGetter items. Is this an issue with Mozilla or iGetter ???

Otherwise, iGetter gets *most* of the links it's supposed to when i click on them. I think that the ones iGetter doesn't recognise is because of bad server settings. In any case, if a link doesn't get captured by iGetter in the first case, I can always copy it to the clipboard, and it'll get captured then.

a satisfied user :-)

Hello BjarneDM,
For now the contextual menu function "Download with iGetter" works only for IE and iCab. The contextual function "Download all with iGetter" works also with Opera.

Regarding the iGetter browser plug-in it works well with Mozilla and Chimera, but because these browsers are frequently updated we recommend you to test the integration. It's possible that some servers may return invalid file MIME types and iGetter can't recognize it as a download file.

Look at the "igetter and Opera" thread for some Opera specific recommendations.
