Sometimes when I click a link to download a file iGetter receives a cgi but does not follow the redirect and just hangs, is there anything that can be done about this problem?

Hello Alan,
We found a similar problem with form pages (where you must register your email) in Apple.com. Internet Explorer doesn't return the right redirected URL to iGetter, but the first URL from the form. We will try to solve this problem if it's possible.
In such cases you may copy the correct URL that appears in the IE address field in the notification page 'The download was caught by iGetter...'.

It seems this is not a problem with Netscape or Mozilla.

Regards,
