After restart i cant reconnect to the internet

after i have installed iGetter and restart my computer remote access tells me that "my modem is not responding correctly and that i should check...." the only way to get around this is 2 unistall iGetter before i shutdown
im running os 9.0.4 on an iMac using the built in 56k modem
does anyone know how to fix this?

This is the first report of that kind. Could you please write on our support email more information about how do you use iGetter and your modem after the installation of iGetter and before the restart/shutdown of your machine.
