When I tried downlodaing a 28 MB file on my "Quicksilver" 867 MHz G4 iGetter used about 20-60% of the processor.

I tred to download the same file with a competing download accelerator software product beginning with the letter "S".
It used about 10-25% of the processor.

Is there an update coming out for iGetter that will speed things up?
Im running Mac OS X 10.3.1

Hello Martin,
The forthcoming v2.0 of iGetter has a completely rewritten engine that will use significantly less CPU resources.
