upgraded to panther a week ago (and to the new safari since) - downloads now mostly keep igetter 'almost finished' icons after they are complete (not horrible), and i have to quit igetter between download sessions or it somehow forgets the download folder setting (on another partition) and looks at the alias (on the same partition) and fails to grab files (more disturbing)

with thanks, confusious

p.s. wish list? a button for 'delete download' (edit menu never made sense to me)!

Incomplete downloads - for real

all the problems i've experienced seem to occur only on certain files, particular fileservers, one type of javascript redirect links, ...

nonetheless, i've had to again switch off Preferences/Integration/Integrate with internet browsers (Watch for URL clicks)

that puts iGetter in 'fully manual' (nearly useless) mode...

hope there's an update soon!

Hello Wolf,
You can easily turn off integration feature of iGetter switching off "Integrate with Internet browsers" Tools menu function.

Version 2.0 will have a delete toolbar button. Meantime, you can use Cmd+Backspace to delete any file from the queue.

The problem with the download folder must be solved in v2.0 where we use a different way for storing file locations.

The problem with the icon refreshing is already in the iGetter bug list for resolving. Note that even with an iGetter icon when you double click on the file it must be opened from the associated application (i.e StuffIt Expander).
