Interesting "bug" - after copying the application folder to a new HD with a different user name (not recommended, I know), iGetter unsurprisingly lost track of where the downloads were supposed to go. The preference merely said 'Desktop' (instead of /Users/thoughton/Desktop). All my downloads where disappearing! Even a Finder find-file couldn't find them. I eventually discovered them inside the package. After fixing the download location in prefs all is well (I hope).

Wrong Solution

I'm glad it worked for you. No matter what I have tried, iGetter puts the download in the iGetter package. I might get it to work properly for one download, but the next time around, there it is right back in the iGetter pacakge.
