Hi there,

Does anyone know a workaround to sites that use jpg files as links to mov or mpg files? That is, pages that say "click on the photo to view movie."

iGetter simply downloads the jpg, despite the preferences saying to only download movie-type extensions.

You can see this over at Salon's new VideoDog page:

Apple's trailer site sometimes has this problem.

Is there a workaround without having to uninstall iGetter?

Thanks.

Hello Ted,
It seems that Firefox and most probably Safari give incorrect URL of the ".mov" file.

A workaround is to use the "Process Web Page" Tools menu function or the iGetter Site Explorer. If you prefer to use your browser first remove the "mov" extension from the iGetter preferences, Integration panel. Then load the page in your browser and use the "Download all with iGetter" contextual menu command. Now you can filter links from the Options tab using the predefined Movies filter.
