I'm using Opera 8.5 and just installed iGetter.
I tried to download some files in download.com but iGetter did not catch the links.
What's wrong?

Hello Najor,
Downloading from the download.com site is a little complicated if you want to catch a download in iGetter. Download.com uses a javascript command to redirect to a page when the real download link appears. So the most easiest way to download from this site with your Opera browser is to click on "Alternate download links" instead of "Download now" link.

Then click on the first of the proposed links:

You must see the "Save As" Opera dialog. If you don't see the "Open with: iGetter plug-in" text click on the "Change" button and select the "Use plug-in" radio button, choosing the first "iGetter plug-in" listed in the plug-ins combo box. If you don't see the iGetter plug-in listed there make sure that you've switched on the "Integrate with Internet browsers" iGetter Tools menu function.

Now, click on the "Open" button and your download must appear in iGetter:

lethargiclown,

If you have reinstalled/updated your Opera browser you need to switch off then back on the iGetter "Integrate with Internet browsers" Tools menu function.
