when I download something using iGetter, the hard disk makes a noise like its accessing data, but if I use something else to download something it doesn't make the noise. Is this normal?

Hello Daniel,
Depending on the number of segments that you use for your downloads iGetter will write in the same time at different parts of the physical files. You can see a visual interpretation of the writing process if you select the iGetter "Chart" panel. Browsers download with one segment so you can decrease the number of segments (generally from the iGetter preferences, Acceleration panel) as well as the number of max simultaneous downloads and see what will be the difference.
