Hi guys,

Two suggestions, one is having iGetter to determine if it has already downloaded a certain file from a website beforehand, it can notify you and then you can decide whether to re-download or not.

The second is using a key combination to select file links on a web page. Instead of doing a right-click, then click download ... how about hold down the Apple key + click the link, and it automatically puts it into iGetter.

These options may already be in 2.5 ... but I admit I haven't been able to find them.

Hope that helps,

Cheers, PC

Well it is a bit old post but if you ever read, enable "clipboard monitoring" and with any browser, you just copy the link of DMG, ZIP etc, and iGetter will catch it and download.

Of course iGetter must be running.

Sorry for double post, I agree the history should be used for replacing old files (if user decides), there are like 20 Vuescan.dmgs here :)

PS: I am just a iGetter user like you.
