Sometimes when downloading from Version Tracker, the script for the redirect will begin spawning multiple downloads of the item and keep spawning until I quit iGetter. One download will be active and the rest report "paused"

The one that did it today is on the page from this link

Hello David,
Thank you for your post. It appears that some sites cause the reported problem. Currently, we use the browser's back command in the iGetter browser plugin to stop the browser from downloading the same file. But self-refreshing download pages as these in versiontracker.com start (and add to iGetter) the same download again. We are working on a fix that will appear in the next release of iGetter.

If you mainly use Firefox you can easily solve the problem if you install the FlashGot extension and turn off the iGetter's "Integrate with Internet browsers" Tools menu function.

Regards,
iGetter Support
