I have twice attempted to download a large file ( 1058MB) using 2 segments, and twice after 10 hours the Status becomes broken; the last atempt only 2MB short of completion.
Is it possible to complete a 'broken' connection?

Hello Barry,
If it's a download from a file sharing service try to get a fresh download URL from their site. Most file sharing services use expirable session URLs.

We have a similar problem with some normal HTTP or FTP downloads when we download from particular ISPs. In this case the problem is hidden in proxies between your machine and the server. Somewhere on the way a proxy cashes the download and then gives you the file for faster downloading. The problem disappears if you have an alternative link for this file or alternative connection to the Internet. Download will be resumed just fine.

What error you see in the Segments tab panel for this download?
