In order to add and start automatically an URL in iGetter, first you need to turn on both "Start downloading immediately" and "Stay in background when a new download is added" options available at iGetter options, General panel. There are some other options there that may be useful for you, i.e. "At launch set auto" option. When "Open save dialog on new download" option is off, the default download folder is used or a folder that is set in the "Download Rules" Tools menu function.

The main iGetter command line switches are:
[-u] <URL>
-f <Path to File with URLs in the following format:
-b <Browser cookie option:
1 - IE,
2 - Opera,
3 - Mozilla,
4 - Firefox,
5 - Safari
Edit: 6 - Chrome>
-c <Cookie text if -b is not used>

Edit: Option -b is required if you use -f. Option -c works only with -u.

1. To add an URL to iGetter:
"C:\Program Files\iGetter\iGetter.exe" "<URL>"

2. To add an URL and set the cookie option to Firefox:
"C:\Program Files\iGetter\iGetter.exe" -u "<URL>" -b 4
