error 401 waiting

i have a problem with downloading from e password protected site .. i have set site manager . when i add a new file i see "waiting" .. error 401 .. i go to "item setting>advanced . the password and other thing is ok .. after clicking the "push" button it's gone ok . and download begins.. how can i solve this problem

Site which you want to authenticate must be like these (notice the point before which includes all subdomains such as www):

Don't enter anything after the "", otherwise iGetter will authenticate downloads only in the specific subfolder.

FTP uses different port

What if their ftp server uses another port besides 21? I am getting the same error, and I added the entries which did not resolve.

Error 401 is an HTTP authentication error. What is the exact error you receive on that FTP download or better yet send a transfer transcript (see iGetter Segments panel) to our support email ?

Before entering anything in the iGetter Site Manager, add a single download and enter your user info in the New URL dialog, Advanced panel.
