What does the "Postprocess" checkbox in the Preferences do?

In short, with this option on, when an archive download finishes, iGetter will open it (as if you double clicked on it in Finder). This option is similar to the Safari 'Open "safe" files after downloading'.

From the iGetter Help:

Post process files - If checked, iGetter, will automatically post process the following files: .arc, .arj, .as, .base64, .bin, .bz2, .dmg, .gz, .hqx, .img, .lha, .lzh, .mime, .rar, .sit, .sitx, .smi, .tar, .tgz, .uu, .uue, .z, .zip. For example if this option is set on, when a .sit download is finished it will be automatically decompressed.

For those wondering what some option does, just click on the circle button with a question mark in it, at the right bottom of iGetter Preferences window. It will open the corresponding Help topic for that panel.
