What app should I assign as File Helper in order to catch .dmg file downloads with iGetter? I tried Disk Copy. This caught the download OK, but then the installation failed every time.

The extensions which iGetter will intercept in your browser must be set in the Integration preferences list of extensions. You don't need to set manually the File Helper preferences of your browser, iGetter will do it automatically.
It is possible when you made a manual changing of the File Helper settings iGetter plug-in uninstallation to not set properly your old settings back.

We recommend you to check the iGetter Integration preferences extensions list for the 'dmg' extension and then switch off and then on the Watch for clicks in Internet browsers option or Integrate with Internet browsers Tools function.
