recently my iGetter under OS X start to behave funny in the form of getting "waiting" when I copy an item for download wether I use IE or Safari.
the error message is http/1.0 416 Requested range not Satisfiable!!!!

at ( for membersonly) where I was mainly using iGetter for downloading all my binaries with no reason I have been getting "brorken" link which is not true since I can download the binary directly with Safari or IE.
message is http/1.0 404 not found

Thank you for your report.

We made a test with the and found that they apply some type of restriction over the resume ability of their server. All their downloads go through a download.php script that must redirect to a real URL. iGetter asks the server to return the file starting from the 0 byte. returns "416 Requested Range Not Satisfiable". We are not sure why they want to do that, but in the next release of iGetter we will try to avoid this problem.

Regarding the question about we can't help much because this site requires a registration. But there was a similar question. Look at the Andrew Martin post in this thread:

iGetter 1.9 now works fine with with my web base newsgroup service provider
I tried 1.9.5 and it seems it did not manage the login, it keeps login forever.
I delete all the preferences with no luck
thanks good 1.9 works fine for now!!!!!
