I tried to download a program from a https:// address.

Safari tranferred the job to iGetter OK, but somewhere it was decided that the URL was invalid. I suspect it was the "s" on the end of http that caused the problem. I am assuming it was iGetter that screened the format of the URL and judged that it was invalid.

I have searched the iGetter preferences but cannot find any way of altering the criteria to allow the different format of URL.

Temporarily I got over the problem by switching off the integration with Safari, the browser downloaded the program without any trouble.

Please advise, can I tweak something to allow iGetter to handle <https://....> URL's.

Hello Derek,
Currently HTTPS protocol is not implemented in iGetter yet. We plan to include support for HTTPS in v2.0.
