FTP Download does not work with some usernames

Hello Dan,
iGetter accepts URLs in the form of:

Username or password must not include @ or colon signs. URL syntax is explained in RFC3986. In short, username followed by an at-sign ("@") that delimits it from the host, means that you have omitted the password.

A workaround is to try to enter your user info in the iGetter preferences, Site Manager panel. Then enter the URL without user info:

Hi - I'm sure that the user names violate the RFCs, but it's not me setting the user name - it's used by some web hosting control panels for virtualdomain ftp users.

Anyway, the workaround worked as details, the strange thing is that I can now enter the username@domain type user name in iGetter without an entry in the ftp sites and it is working too.

I think that the original problem I was having may have been related to trying to download a 6Gb file from the virtual server.

Thanks for the tips and great product. Time to renew my license now I think :)
