iGetter Features
iGetter is a powerful, full featured download manager and accelerator. iGetter can greatly improve the speed of your downloads using segmented downloading. In addition it allows auto resume on broken downloads, queue filtering by various criteria, site explorer, history list, scheduling downloads for low traffic periods, auto shut down on completion, and much more.
iGetter supports Segmented (Accelerated) downloading. This basic feature of iGetter can greatly improve the speed of your downloads.
iGetter integrates with Internet Browsers by a browser extension, available for Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Chromium based browsers and Firefox.
iGetter supports HTTP and FTP protocols as well as HTTPS and FTP over SSL(Implicit and Explicit).
iGetter resumes paused or interrupted downloads, if web or FTP servers support partial content requests (most servers do that).
• iGetter includes a Site Explorer that allows exploration of entire web or FTP sites, so you can easily find and download files you're interested in. When the Site Explorer is used iGetter displays the web contents rendered in a separate view below the site tree. This makes the process of exploration convenient as you see the web page directly in iGetter as you would with a web browser. When you reach the file or files you're interested in downloading, you can easily add them to the iGetter queue.
• You can use Site Explorer to recursively download whole FTP directories.
• iGetter will perform a file integrity check using XMD5 or XCRC commands, if supported by the FTP server.
• iGetter supports PRET (PRE Transfer) command (in passive mode), used in distributed FTP servers.
• iGetter supports TLS v1.3 and v1.2 session resumption, if supported by the FTP server. TLS session reuse also speeds up the data connection handshake.
• iGetter analyzes every server response to prevent from damage to your file downloads. Also, if a new download has the same name, size and date as an existing file in the same location, iGetter will not download it to avoid duplication.
• iGetter calculates CRC-32, MD5 and SHA256 checksums so you can verify your downloads.

• CD Burning - this feature allows you to burn completed downloads on a CD-R/W directly in iGetter. Function keeps track of all CD numbers, so you can easily find on which CD you have burned a particular download. (Requires Windows 7 or above)
• iGetter is developed using C/C++, which has resulted in an efficient and responsive program.

You may evaluate iGetter downloading the trial version. But if it suits your needs, you should consider purchasing it. iGetter will show a shareware reminder dialog at every startup during the evaluation. Registering iGetter will give us the opportunity to continue its development. All registered users will receive free support by email and will also get free updates in the major version (i.e. 2.x or 3.x versions).
Registered users of v2.x may upgrade free of charge to iGetter v3.x for Windows. This is an exception of our policy written above.
